India’s
ambitious railway modernization mission reached another major milestone
as the Rail Coach Factory (RCF) in Kapurthala, Punjab, successfully
rolled out a new Vande Bharat Express trainset, strengthening the
country’s transition toward next-generation high-speed rail
travel.Rollout Plan:
The first prototype from RVNL-TMH (Kinet) is scheduled for June 2026,
as part of the overall 120 train set plan, with deliveries extending up
to 2032
